Terms and Conditions

By engaging RoofTech for roofing services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are free and valid for 30 days from the issue date.
Prices may be adjusted based on unforeseen issues discovered after the start of the work (e.g. hidden damage).
Quotations exclude VAT unless explicitly stated.
2. Booking and Payment
A deposit may be required to secure your booking, typically 25–50%, depending on the project size.
Full payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, card, or other agreed methods.
3. Cancellations
If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled start date, a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the quoted job cost may apply.
For large or labour-intensive jobs, a higher cancellation fee may be charged to cover preparation or materials already purchased.
RoofTech reserves the right to cancel or reschedule work due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be informed as soon as possible.
4. Access and Responsibility
The client is responsible for providing safe access to the property and ensuring areas are clear for work to begin.
Any delays caused by restricted access may incur additional charges.
5. Workmanship and Warranty
All work carried out by RoofTech is guaranteed for workmanship for up to 10 years (depending on the service), unless otherwise stated.
Material guarantees are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by external factors (e.g. storms, impact, poor maintenance).
6. Liability
RoofTech will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss (e.g. business interruption) due to roofing issues unless proven to be caused by negligence.
We are fully insured for public liability and employee coverage.
7. Delays and Force Majeure
RoofTech is not liable for delays due to weather, strikes, supply shortages, or other factors beyond our control.
We will always aim to reschedule and complete the work as promptly as possible.
8. Health & Safety
All work is conducted in line with UK health and safety regulations.
Clients and occupants should avoid access to active work areas for their own safety.
9. Complaints and Disputes
We aim for 100% satisfaction. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us in writing at [email protected] within 14 days of job completion.
We will respond within 5 working days and aim to resolve all issues promptly and fairly.
If unresolved, disputes may be referred to a relevant UK arbitration or ombudsman service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
